President’s Day 2024

On a sunny afternoon in July, it was the annual President’s Day celebrations, a day organised and hosted by Club President Phil Coleshill.
The day got underway with delicious canapés and drinks, while the women’s squad played an inter-club friendly match in the sun, accompanied by some tunes to get the party started.
The women’s players were kindly presented with a Methusaleh size bottle of rose wine by Phil, as a thank you for their contribution to the Club. (It’s being chilled for a suitable occasion!)
After a short break, play got under way for the men’s match. The day saw the return of some familiar faces to the Club, for the brilliant day organised by the club president Phil! The men’s Presiden’s XI was made up of ex-Grayshott players who battled it out against a young fresh faced team of some of Grayshott’s future talent!
It was only fitting the President’s team took home the win and bragging rights, but they were pushed all the way by the Grayshott side. Here’s hoping some of the old faces may return back to Grayshott in the future and help the club out!
