Having played in the Club’s green kit since starting the Women’s section in 2021, it was time for a new kit to give the Chargers and Strikers their own identity, and more importantly, kit that was designed for women.
We chose to work with Lacuna Sports. Founded in 2019, Lacuna Sports was born so that all sportswomen can walk out onto a pitch feeling confident, comfortable and able to focus on their game, not their kit. With some ideas and colours in mind, we worked with the Lacuna team to refine designs and then put the chosen designs to a vote by the squad.
With the design chosen, Founder Leigh Burns brought the Lacuna team wear kit down to Hampshire so that all players could try on the tops and choose their size and style. The tops come in two styles Spin and Pace, and a wide range of sizes, so that there’s a fit and size for everyone.
The Club’s new sponsor Grayshott Gigabit features on the sleeve, and personalisation was added to the back for those that wanted.
The squad are thrilled with the new kit which fits well, is breathable and looks great! (even if they do say so themselves!)
